Someone recently left a comment on my blog, calling me an idiot for not appreciating a certain book and also stating that I shouldn't evaluate books until I became qualified to do so. The commenter also, incongruously, encouraged me to re-read the book from a philosophical viewpoint. Gee, with that kind of flattery, it's really hard to resist reading that book that I didn't like in the first place. But resist I will.

Resistance is futile. But so is rereading a book you don't like. Speaking of, I've read Return of the Native three times.
