So my story "Death Babies" is in the October issue of Flash Fiction Online. It's not what you think--no babies die...well, okay, one dies, but that is beside the point. The issue also includes great Halloween appropriate stories from Kristine Kathryn Rusch and Damon Shaw. And I'm overjoyed that the issue includes an essay from Poe and a story from Lovecraft.

Thumbs up. This comment is a firework party in a house.
Thanks, Matt.
Fantastic piece! Imaginative and disturbing, it's everything I love in a story.
just read your flash fiction over at the other site. Thought it was great. Well done!
great shit, Craig, the last line/image is potent. I like Tammy's comment and Matt's too. They both say what I feel.
Also, on fb, I have a JMWW interview up where I blather about Scientist Mad.
Thanks Tammy, Nathan, and David.
I'm reading your story aloud for my class, but this sentence feels awkward and I'm wondering what it means:
"...Her neighbors moved for the endless sound, a hum of death baby babble."
It gives the impression that the reason that they're moving is because of the humming, but towards it rather than away. I'm wondering if "for" in the sentence is meant to indicate "because of."
Yeah, that was the idea: "because of."
